We started Cleveland Housing Solutions in 2011 because we think Cleveland can be a great place to live and that everyone deserves a home they can be proud of. And we just really like houses. We try to keep all of our units affordable while rehabbing and maintaining them to the highest standards possible. While often neglected, the little things can make all the difference between a place you rent and a place you can call home. We look for responsible tenants who will care about the property like we do while holding up our end of the bargain by being responsive and attentive to the needs of our customers. Whether you’re looking to move into the city from the suburbs or from across the country, we’d love to talk to you today about moving into one of our homes.
Who we are:
Scott Kroehle was born in the West Side suburbs of Cleveland and took the long road back to the city, landing in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood in 2007. He has worked at or managed a wide variety of businesses and is excited to be working toward a healthier housing stock on the near West Side of Cleveland and the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood, where he currently resides. When he’s not in the office or out at one of the homes, you can usually find him out on the lake somewhere.
Anna Perlmutter is co-owner of Cleveland Housing Solutions. As a landlord in the neighborhood, Anna is committed to housing justice as social justice. This includes equitable and ethical treatment of all tenants, innovative approaches to maintaining high standards in affordable units, and ongoing efforts to reserve space in our rapidly developing city for all residents to thrive.
